In Scouting, the Eagle stands for strength of character and for knowledge of all phases of Scouting. It represents an understanding of community and nation, and a deep respect for both. The Eagle is a symbol of what a young man has accomplished as well as what he will do—and who he will become—in the future. The Eagle is a leader, respected by his peers and his adult mentors.
The Eagle Scout Award is the highest achievement in Scouting, recognized by the National Court of Honor and presented through the local council at a Court of Honor. It represents years of dedication, service, and leadership. The path to Eagle begins the day a Scout joins, and it culminates in a demonstration of leadership, citizenship, and responsibility.
Since 1966, more than 100 Scouts from Troop 345 have earned the rank of Eagle Scout—the highest award available to youth members of the Boy Scouts of America. We are proud of every young man who has taken on the challenge, committed the time, and demonstrated the leadership it takes to earn this honor.
Each year, our list of Eagle Scouts continues to grow, adding to the strong legacy of Troop 345.
